The Wonderful World of Hans Christian Andersen Franchise Concept A Wonderful World of Hans Christian Andersen attraction will appeal to children and adults around the world, and trigger their desire to learn more about this fascinating personality. Our research in building the Copenhagen attraction is the foundation for design and theming of new, similar attractions in other parts of the world - similar, but not the same; authentic, yet diverse and exciting. Guests will find something new to experience in each of the galleries, and be excited about the animations, sound and lighting effects which make their visit to the attraction more interesting. Even with a new concept such as this, continuous change and improvement is of the essence, and plans are already under way to accomplish this. A new franchise operator may draw upon the design and theme work already carried out in Copenhagen, which will involve substantial cost savings, or he may choose a whole new set of galleries in line with our design policy. This would then be carried out by our external design consultants in England. With the flexibility of our designs a Wonderful World of Hans Christian Andersen attraction can be as small as 450 m2 (or maybe even smaller) or it can be as large as 1000-1500 m2 depending on available space. Location should always be in premium tourist sites such as shopping areas in larger cities, resort areas or inside amusement parks. Premises can be developed in both basements and upper floor areas and need not be at the usually expensive ground floor level. However, entrance and main lobby should have good visibility to attract guests. How can we support you? The Museumsaktieselskabet will license the Wonderful World of Hans Christian Andersen name and logo to you, and will help in marketing this brand. Once a location has been found and approved by us, we will assist in design, theming and building of the attraction through our external design and construction partners. And we will offer our experience in attraction management to set up administrative and staff routines. Our knowledge of the life and work of Hans Christian Andersen will ensure you the highest degree of credibility and authenticity, and will add to your guests experience of value-for-money. Where? Locations should be at high level walk-by tourist areas. Considering the high interest for Hans Christian Andersen in countries such as People´s Republic of China and Japan, these countries are high on our priorities list, but locations anywhere in the world will be seriously considered.
